Today was our Friday! We had a busy day with about 16 OR cases, one which was complicated and needed some extra post op care. We got to meet and talk with medical students, residents, physicians and other local medical personnel to try to understand what life is like in Venezuela right now.
Tomorrow we have the day off! We are going on a boat trip to a local island, will go swimming, have a picnic on the beach and get to enjoy some of the local atmosphere!
