Mission Accomplished!
Our January 2024 mission to Cure Ethiopia was an overwhelming success!
Overall, our team members were from Indiana, Colorado, Boston, Richmond, Philly and Ghana!
We did 5 major spine fusion surgeries with sophisticated monitoring not available anywhere else in Ethiopia. We saw about 75 patients in clinic and supported about 40 other surgical procedures. Our teams worked incredibly well together, our patients did awesome, and we had fun together as well! Everyone made it home safely and we are resting and recovering!

Tuesday
We had a terrific day today!
We had some orthopedic surgery and ENT and did a spine fusion for scoliosis. This is a new service just starting at Cure Ethiopia with the help of our team and others. This is not available anywhere else in the country.
Everything went well and we have an amazing team! We are having a team dinner soon!

Hello from Ethiopia
We made it to Addis Sunday morning.
5 out of our 6 bags made it, although the bags went via Chicago. One bag got stuck in London, hopefully arriving tomorrow.
Sunday we delivered supplies and equipment and sorted them. Today we screened patients and planned surgery for the rest of the week. We are supporting a new spine surgery program, the first of its kind in Ethiopia!
We have a team of 9 from all over the world.

Ethiopia # 22
En route to Ethiopia- I think for the 22nd time!
Snow in Philly scared us, but getting to the airport was fine. But our first flight was delayed meaning we would miss the second leg, so we had to detour through London.
But we had a lovely few hours exploring Kew Gardens and now on the plane to Addis!
