We had a full day in the OR today - 14 cases in total. All of our patients are doing well so far. Talking with the parents and family members is giving us a sobering picture of life for most people in Venezulea - little food, limited job options even for the educated, staggering inflation, limited options for health care. The hospital we are working out of has many many other patients that need care.
