As you may have figured out if you have been trying to follow my blog, internet access in Ethiopia is often a challenge. Most people don't have access to internet in their homes at all. Cure has good internet, but there still have been many issues this week. Most of the city was out of cable internet for several days. (Maybe a ship cut a cable in the ocean?) Then those who had 3G on their smart phones got internet back. Then other places slowly regained internet. Cure got theirs back this morning for a few hours, but then the electricity was off this afternoon during the rain and hail storm. Cure has a generator, so the normal activities didn't seem to be affected, but the internet was down again. Right now it seems to be working again, but you never know for how long. I will try to post some pictures in a little while, but if it is too slow, I will wait until tomorrow when the internet at the Sheraton will probably be faster.
