In Florida, flight a bit bumpy but all good. It is pouring rain at the moment. Don't think I saw any rain in Haiti this trip. Happy to be in the US, home soon!
About to get in my seat on the plane to Florida! Airport a little crazy! Rest of team leaves a little later. I am a little tired, looking forward to a nap!!

Day is done! 13 cases today for about 65 total. Spaghetti for dinner. Everyone relaxing. Hard to believe our week is done. This was an awesome group and trip!

Scrambled eggs, toast, cereal for bfast, Mac and cheese and chili for lunch, grilled chicken and mashed potatoes and soup for dinner. Lots of yummy snacks too!
15 OR cases today, done before 6. Most of us walked through Double Harvest compound - talaria farm, school. Walked through "village" next door, mobbed by kids!

We left our house around 2, went to visit a school, then 2 orphanages in the country. Now chilling on the rooftop. We r enjoying a night off. Back to OR in am!
Did 8 OR cases today by 1 pm. Lunch - tuna, soup, elk sticks and snacks. Now off to orphanage and to relax for the rest of the day. It is hot and sunny today.

We had 14 OR cases again today. Everyone did well, a few staying over night. Lasagna for dinner and brownies! Tomorrow OR in am then visiting an orphanage.
Eggs, toast for bfast, 7 OR cases so far (incl 3 kids), 6 left. A little break for lunch. Good Wifi signal but can't connect even with restart. Ideas? Text me

Just checked on all the patients, everyone doing well including one who needed some serious medical intervention earlier. Lots of team talking + laughing 2nite!
Breakfast- pancakes; lunch- soup and chicken salad; dinner elk stew and rice. Girl scout cookies for dessert! Good coffee, lemonade, iced tea, snacks! All good!
Did 14 OR cases: Gyn, urology, gen surgery. One was hernia with appendix stuck inside. Saw lots of patients for later in the week. Hot muggy, thunder no rain.

Had a good dinner, got into ORs. 2 big rooms and a procedure room. Very well supplied and stocked. Several groups from US come here often. Plan for 8 cases mon.
At our guest house, unpacking making spaghetti for dinner. The electricity and water are on. Our house seems quite nice and well equipped. Can't get in OR yet.
In PaP, all bags and people here. Hot and muggy. Starting our 45 min drive to our site. Flights uneventful, a nice group of people, mostly from WI. OR in am
In Miami about to depart for Port-Au-Prince.
