We've been home from Haiti for just under two weeks. In some ways, it seems like we were just there yesterday. Looking at pictures brings it all back so quickly. In other ways, it seems so far away. It is easy to forget what life is like there. We take our good roads and cool temperatures for granted. We are already planning another trip, probably in August.

We are on our way home from the Phila airport. Our flights were uneventful. It was a busy, tiring weekend but amazing and gratifying! Will rest well tonight!
We will definitely come back, already talking about possibilities. Have lots of pictures, will post once at home. Saw my friend Dr. John McFadden too!
Road to the airport bumpy, dusty, lots of people, dust, traffic, noise. Saw many tent cities and rubble. An amazing trip. We are tired but accomplished much.
Had a late dinner Sunday: chicken, pasta, fries. Our team enjoyed talking and relaxing until midnight, then to bed. We r now at airport, checking in.
We had a full day. 7 urology cases, 2 clefts. The youngest was 5 weeks old. I took care of one 4 year old yesterday, all of the rest less than 1. All went well.

Midnight: going to bed. A long busy day but well worthwhile. No Internet access where we are, but hopefully some pictures will get posted on LEAP site tomorrow.
